Tony Stewart brands online bashing over SHR ceasing operation as “very unjust”
Stewart Haas Racing boss Tony Stewart has given his verdict on social media backlash over SHR ceasing its operations.

The 2024 NASCSAR Cup season will mark an end of an era, as the Ford giants Stewart Haas Racing will cease their operations at the end of the year. They are set to sell all three of their charters before next season, with the fourth charter being converted into a third team, Haas Factory Team, with Cole Custer as the driver.
The NSACAR community was furious when the news of ceasing operations was announced. Teams’ co-owner Tony Stewart, who is leaving the ownership role entirely, received heavy backlash over his decision. The former Cup champion explained his opinion on the criticism with his former driver Kevin Harvick in the Happy Hour podcast.
He asserted that the bashing he got online was really unjust and he proceeded to take a shoot the social media critic. Stewart pointed out that none of the social media critics have given them any positive idea to get the team out of the mess and their comments was just limited to personal criticism.

While further talking about ceasing operations, Tony Stewart explained how great of a job was dine by his team in helping the soon to be laid of SHR employees get new roles. He asserted that making sure their crew’s future is set has been one of the primary goals of the team, making it a transition year for everyone.
SHR and their crew is determined to celebrate their last three races of the season with strong performances. It will be interesting to see how good they can perform in the coming races, with a lot of emotions on the sidelines.
