Daniel Suarez has emerged as one of the most exciting talents in the Cup Series. Few weeks ago, fans were shocked to hear that Trackhouse Racing will not race the Mexican driver next year. Since then Suarez has been under the radar over his future. Now, the NASCAR star has finally commented on what his future holds in the stock car championship.
The Mexican driver had played a pivotal role in shaping Trackhouse Racing in NASCAR. Unfortunately, Daniel Suarez felt that he was losing his importance within the team. Earlier this year, both sides decided to mutually part ways, with the 33-year-old trying to find a new home in NASCAR.
Though Suarez seemingly did not have a backup plan when his exit from the Chevrolet team was announced. Daniel Suarez was asked on an update regarding his 2026 plans in NASCAR. The Mexican driver insisted that things were looking good.
Though he tried to remain tight-lipped on what that meant, Suarez admitted that he may announce his 2026 drive as early as next month. The 33-year-old asserted that he was already very happy the way things were shaping up to be for his future, without giving any more information.
Yeah, things are looking good. That’s all I can say. Hopefully we can announce what we’re going to do next month, I think. I think next month it should be already public, but I’m happy where I am. That’s all I can say.
Daniel Suarez told 11Alive.
Moreover, the Xfinity race winner was glad to have the support of his close ones and his fans. Daniel Suarez even claimed that he has some great sponsors by his side, who continue to support him for the next chapter of his career.
I’m very, very blessed. I have so many great people on my corner, so many great sponsors as well, and things are looking good.

Daniel Suarez’s future not a ‘done deal’ yet
The Mexican driver was quite confident while stating that will announce his future plans next month. However, it seems that there are still some things left before Daniel Suarez officially has a drive next season.

The 33-year-old was questioned over his comments, on whether his upcoming announcement was set in stone. Daniel Suarez confessed that it was not a done deal yet, otherwise he would’ve already revealed his plans in public. Nevertheless, Suarez asserted that things were looking good.
Well, it’s not a done deal. If it was done, you guys would know already, but things are looking good.
Daniel Suarez stated.
The 33-year-old has impressed the entire NASCAR field this year. Daniel Suarez even took the Xfinity win in Mexico this season. It is unclear whether Suarez will remain the Cup Series next season or take a step back to Xfinity (to be renamed as O’Reilly Auto Parts Series). Though fans would just be glad to see the Mexican star remain in the field.
