Natalya stepped into the ring against NWA Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige at the 2025 Crockett Cup. Although she came up short in her bid for the title, it wasn’t the match result that made headlines—it was what happened afterward. Following the bout, The Queen of Harts was involved in a real altercation with a fan seated at ringside, sparking widespread attention and controversy.
In a now-viral video, the former Women’s Champion is seen approaching the fan and suddenly shoving him down near the ringside area. She then begins swinging at him, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Chaos ensues as the NWA security team rushes in to defuse the situation. However, Natalya breaks free momentarily, reaching over the guardrail to land another shot before finally being restrained by officials.

For now, the cause of the incident remains unclear. While some believe it was a scripted stunt designed to generate social media buzz, others speculate it was a case of retaliation—possibly for something the fan did or said during the match. For the time being, the WWE legend has made no official comment, only fueling further curiosity and speculation among fans.
All eyes are now on The Queen of Harts’ next appearance in the NWA. Meanwhile, over in WWE, Natalya is currently aligned with Maxxine Dupri of The Alpha Academy. Serving as Dupri’s mentor, Natalya is helping shape her protege’s in-ring journey—with the duo potentially eyeing a run at the Women’s Tag Team Titles in the near future.
Natalya talks about winning the Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Natalya has enjoyed an illustrious career in WWE, cementing her legacy as a former Women’s Champion and a surefire future Hall of Famer. However, at 42, she feels there’s still one chapter left to be written. For her, the journey won’t be complete until she captures one more title—the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw.

Speaking with WrestleBinge, the veteran revealed her desire to become a women’s mid-card champion in WWE. Natalya expressed that she has never had the opportunity to work with Lyra Valkyria—something she hopes to accomplish before retiring. With the Women’s Intercontinental Championship now part of the landscape, Natalya made it clear that capturing that title is one of her top priorities at this stage of her career.
I’ve never had a singles match against Lyra [Valkyria]. So to me, I don’t feel like my career will be complete unless I win that Women’s IC Title.
Natalya said as per WrestleBinge
Currently, the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is at the center of a heated rivalry between Valkyria and Becky Lynch on Raw. However, there’s a strong possibility that Natalya could carve out her place in the mid-card division this summer. Watching a veteran like her capture a women’s title once again would be a thrilling moment for longtime fans who have supported her since day one in WWE.
Natalya believes she won’t retire until Randy Orton decides to retire
At 42, Natalya continues to compete at the highest level, holding the record for the most matches by a female star in WWE history. This achievement firmly secures her place among the all-time greats. Yet, The Queen of Harts insists her career is far from over—she plans to hang up her boots only when Randy Orton does.

Speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show, Natalya expressed admiration for her peers Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio, who continue to wrestle at an impressive level despite their age. She highlighted their dedication and physical condition as a source of inspiration and explained that as long as they keep going, she sees no reason to retire herself.
It’s funny because people say to me, ‘When are you gonna hang it up?’ I’m gonna hang it up when Randy Orton hangs it up, when Rey Mysterio hangs it up.

Orton is 45 years old, while Mysterio continues to perform impressively at 50. For these superstars, age is clearly just a number.
