“Eventually he’s going to get in the boxing ring”- Nate Diaz’s teammate warns Jake Paul to not bite more than he can chew
Jake Paul on Nate Diaz
Nate Diaz is one of the most entertaining fighters to ever step inside the octagon. His UFC contract is about to end and he has a lot of interesting fights lined up for him. A trilogy match against Conor McGregor tops the list, and Conor also said he wants this fight upon his return.
Another possible fight for Diaz is a bout against Dustin Poirier. These two went on a Twitter war calling each other out, and now we’re waiting for the UFC to finalize the deal. Another fighter who called out Diaz is Tony Ferguson, he is willing to take on Diaz at any weight class he wants, but we are yet to receive a confirmation from Diaz.
There’s no surety that Diaz would renew his UFC contract after this, and many expect him to step inside the boxing ring. Another possible match for Diaz is against Jake Paul. These two had a little fall-out after Jake’s last fight, and Diaz’s teammate believes this fight is easy money for Diaz.
“He’s going to make a stamp and a statement in boxing”- Chris Avila on Nate Diaz’s future in boxing
Talking to MMA Fighting, Chris Avila said, “I’m down to see that fight. But when you fight Nate Diaz, you’re getting the realest fighter of all time right there. So these guys are sitting here calling his name and eventually he’s going to get in the boxing ring and I’m excited to see it. Who he’s going to box is his choice. He’s going to make a stamp and a statement in boxing, easy.”
Diaz has got one of the nastiest crews in MMA. His elder brother Nick Diaz is one of the toughest dudes to ever compete in the octagon, these guys are real gangsters, and Avila states they’re already 1-0 against team Jake Paul. “The Jake Paul fight, Jake Paul’s team is zero, we’re one up already,” he added. “That last fight was a Paul-Diaz, team versus team, Jake Paul made that. They’re already down one. So if he wants to get in the ring with Nate or me, it would be fine with either of us. I know that’s a fight I can win. I know that’s a fight Nate would win, hands down. Easy money.”
