Nate Diaz is going to court again, but this time the former UFC contender is not in trouble. It turns out the Stockton native is yet to receive almost all of the payout he was promised for his recent showdown against Jorge Masvidal. This has got Diaz suing the fight’s promoter and his company.

Nate Diaz was apparently promised a massive payout of $10 million for his fight against Jorge Masvidal. However, Diaz reportedly never received 90% of the money he was promised. Now, as per TMZ Sports, he has sued promoter Solomon Engel and his company, Fanmio to get the money he was promised.

Diaz’s attorney Jeremiah Reynolds recently filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in Miami. This was less than two weeks after the two former UFC stars squared off in the boxing ring. It was Diaz’s second and Masvidal’s debut fight in the ring. They had sold out the Honda Center in Anaheim and Diaz walked away with the majority decision win.

Reportedly, Diaz claims Engel refused to pay up because he could not supply the funds. This was because the profits of the fight were not what the promoter had initially expected. According to what is mentioned in the lawsuit, Engel could not pay Diaz because his wife might potentially divorce him over the financial loss. Diaz claims he would have never stepped in the ring with Masvidal if he knew he would not get paid. Now he is suing for fraud and breach of contract.

Popular streamer Mikyle Rafiq aka Neon almost got himself into a lot of trouble last week. The 19-year-old went to the Diaz vs. Masvidal press conference and taunted Nate Diaz. But N3on had to run out because Diaz blew up on him upon listening to what he had to say.

But why did Nate Diaz get so angry at the 19-year-old streamer? Turns out N3on asked the Stockton native if he would retire if ‘Gamebred’ knocked him out in the boxing ring. N3on talked about it more in his recent appearance on George Janko‘s YouTube channel.

I wasn’t trying to get a clip, I thought it would be funny like. I didn’t expect him to react like that too. Yeah, I’m going to go stream and like actually like apologize but they still might not even care. But I’ll try because like I actually didn’t realize it was that bad.

While N3on claimed his intention was comical, Nate Diaz did not find it funny at all. The Stockton native hurled abuses at the teenager before threatening him and had members of his entourage chase the 19-year-old out of the venue.
