The NBA 2021-22 Season is surely proving to majorly solidify or loosen teams even before it has started. Ben Simmons remains one of the biggest names who could be seen in a trade from Philadelphia 76ers after the drama starting from the team’s slip up in the playoffs last season. However as per Sham Charania’s latest update, it seems like the 76ers are not willing to pay Simmons his $8.25 Million. 

Even during the media day yesterday for the Sixers, marquee player Joel Embiid made interesting claims about Simmons when the latter decided to not join their training camp. To those who are not unaware, Ben Simmons has been requesting for a trade away from the Philadelphia 76ers ever since the team got knocked out deep into the playoffs. But it seems like the situation is getting worse day-by-day.

Ben Simmons has been a playmaker for the 76ers ever since he was drafted into the team. What can happen is that if Australian player, Ben Simmons is eventually traded, that portion of his salary can be paid at a later time. Another avenue that Simmons could go is to show up to camp without necessarily playing. Yet that seems like a scenario that would be considered highly unlikely, for obvious reasons of creating more of a spectacle than it has already become.

Having said that, it remains to be seen whether or not Simmons is able to fetch him a desired trade after being brutally trolled on numerous occasions by the fans of his current team. Most importantly, even if Simmons does get traded? Which team will it be and how could the Australian international work upon his growth.
