“True King” Ja Morant in awe of LeBron James after historic 50-point explosion against Wizards

Ja Morant and LeBron James

LeBron James is the icon of the sport of basketball in this generation, and the sheer dominance that he had when he was young, exists till now as the 37-year-old, who recently played his 19th NBA All-Star game has done it again! James has given us another 50+ point performance inside the span of one week as the player turned the heat up, and led the way in the process of getting his team a dub against the Washington Wizards. The Wizards succumbed to the pressure put up by the Lakers and specifically James alone, who doesn’t have any plans of conceding defeat to the critics who are always after him.

LeBron has made it a point to prove himself to everyone who has ever had the audacity to question his ability or credibility, and the 37-year-old continues to do it in his 19th year in the league as he leads the way with the most points in the league and is someone all the youngsters in the league look up to. The sad yet brilliant part is, the Lakers have won 2-6 matches since the all-star break, and James has scored 50+ points in both of those games. For a team which boasts names like Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis, only depending on one player for all their victories is definitely not a good sign.

An entire super-team being led by just a 37-year-old player and him having to carry the burden of an entire team on his shoulders is a bad thing for the team and the player himself. LeBron James dropping 50 at such a time when the team needs it the most is good, but others not supporting him in that process isn’t. The Lakers are already almost out of the race to get into the playoffs, and therefore, the Lakers nation has to stick to getting its enjoyment from the performances of LeBron James, who never disappoints. He never misses, and this is just an example of what it looks like to be the GOAT.

The sinking ship of the Los Angeles Lakers has one and only one hope of survival, the chances of which are very narrow. LeBron James is the name that in itself is synonymous with never giving up and fighting till the very end, and that is something the player has always done, and continues to do in order to give the Lakers a chance to get into the Playoffs.

LeBron James scored YET ANOTHER 50+ point performance as the Orlando Magic led by his old mate Kyle Kuzma couldn’t handle the heat created by the player and succumbed to the pressure, losing by a 12-point margin to a shaky Lakers’ team. A team that has lost 4 out of its 6 previous manages is managing to push through, only thanks to their marquee player LeBron James.

In his 36 minutes played, James scored 50 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds, pushing through the Wizards’ wall and leading the way for his team in a commendable victory. James said, “We just needed to pick our energy up and get more detailed about how we wanted to attack the Wizards. We did that, especially in the third quarter,” as he was 18 of 25 from the field and made six 3-pointers in 36 minutes. “I was able to hit a hot streak at one point. I just tried to stay in that zone as long as possible and hit a couple.”
