Ben Simmons Gets Insulted Royally After Video Of Man Trapping Alligator Goes Viral

Things got extremely rusty for the three-time NBA all star, Ben Simmons who has been desperately looking for a move away from the Philadelphia 76ers. Simmons has found himself at the receiving end of some severe flak after a sequence of obnoxious offensive showdowns in the series loss against Atlanta during last season’s play-offs. Both the NBA star, Simmons and the outfit, 76ers have came at loggerheads with each other after the former has simply refused to suit up for the 76ers again or share the floor with All-Star centre, Joel Embiid.
In the midst of all the chaos, Eugene Bozzi struck gold as he came up with the infamous footage of capturing an alligator in a trash can and releasing it later into a waterway. He grabbed the fanfare straightaway when he was interviewed on TV by CBS Philadelphia. The reason he got even more famous was because he linked his nabbing of the alligator to the series of woeful showdowns from Ben Simmons.
Here is the story regarding the alligator humiliation that Ben Simmons had to face

He was heard quoting, “I just jumped into action and I said, you know what, I’m not going to be Ben Simmons. I’m going to get me this basket.” This was a direct dig at Simmons’ downward momentum in shooting. When NBA Central’s Twitter account uploaded this video, neither the audience or Embozzi himself could refrain from splitting his sides. The video garnered more than 2,31,000 views in a very short span of time.
The stand-off between Simmons and Philadelphia 76ers continue as the franchise has failed to attract any bid so far that would compensate fairly for Ben. Amongst all the pandemonium and the growing gulf, the 76ers have withheld a payment of $11.4 million given the boycott of Simmons. The first 25 percent of the contract was shelled out. However, things turned ugly after Ben went cross with the franchise and the situation gets grimmer.
The entire drama unraveled when Embiid came all guns blazing at Simmons. He was heard citing, “I feel like over the years, our team has been built around (Simmons). Our teams have always been built around his needs. Even going back to the reason we signed Al, we got rid of Jimmy, which I still think was a mistake, just to make sure he (Simmons) needed the ball in his hands and that’s the decision they made.”
“The situation is disappointing, borderline kind of disrespectful to all the guys that are out here fighting for their lives,” quoted a furious Embiid. “Some guys rely on the team being successful to stay in the league and make money somehow. Because if you’re on a winning team, you’re always going to have a spot in the league, just because you’re on a winning team and you contributed,” said the NBA all star center.
He concluded by saying, “We are a better team with him, there’s no question about it. We still hope he changes his mind, but I kind of owe it to these guys to worry about what we have here.”
