Ja Morant the Memphis grizzlies star is outraged on looking at the NBA DPOY rankings, as the ranking doesn’t include his teammate Jaren Jackson Jr. it comes as a surprise to him after Jackson Jr. has racked up some incredible stats this season in the defensive side of the game.

After finishing last season 9th in the league, winning both their play-in fixtures and getting the taste of the playoffs against the Utah Jazz, where they eventually crashed out, they have shocked everybody this season after what seems to look for them a straight shot at the playoffs, they are now second in the Western Conference. This season Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. have immensely contributed to their team after putting up some mind-blowing displays for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Ja Morant is having the best season of his career and is racking up 27.5 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.8 rebounds. It’s not only him that has stepped up their game, but it is the entire young roster that has stepped up to put on a show, and Jaren Jackson Jr. has been a massive force on the defensive side for the Grizzlies.

Let’s all be honest; Jaren Jackson Jr. has been putting on some unmatched defensive displays in the league and is practically a beast in his department. He leads the rankings in blocks, with 151 blocks, and is 2nd in blocks per game, and players have handled opponents well with only letting in 13.7% when he is at the rim. Ja Morant has called out the NBA to give some love to Jaren Jackson Jr. after what seems to be, a wonderful season for Jackson Jr. Giannis is leading the charts with Rudy Gobert and Mikal Bridges behind him.

Ja Morant is done with his teammate not getting the respect that he is due, he has taken to Twitter to air out his frustration with the Ranking released earlier for the DPOY. He replied to the same calling it, “B***s***”.

Jaren Jackson Jr. has been straight up dominating and him not being involved in the DPOY conversation needs to be addressed.
