Current Contract Breakdown

Chet Holmgren signed a four-year rookie contract worth $44,889,248 with the Oklahoma City Thunder in July 2022. The deal originally came with $20,277,240 guaranteed at signing and an average salary of $11,222,312 per annum.

For the 2023-24 NBA season Holmgren will be making a base salary of 10,386,000 with a cap hit and dead cap value of 10,386,000. The deal has team options for the last two years of his contract.

The OKC has already exercised the $10.8 million team option for the 2024-25 season earlier in October 2023. The franchise needs to activate the $13.7 million team option for the final year of Holmgren’s rookie contract before a deadline of October 31, 2024, per Spotrac.
