It was a story of yet another disappointing quarter for the Steve Nash side as they lost via 18-points to the Golden State Warriors at home. On one hand, where the away team climbed onto an impressive record of 12-2, ensuring the best record in the league. On the other, Brooklyn suffered their 5th loss of the 2021-22 season after 18-point blowout loss in Nets vs Warriors showdown.
Having said that, after the 117-99 loss, coach Steve Nash was questioned upon the key matchups of some marquee players and the form of his team against the bigger team, he replied with a brutal honest answer which should be an eye opener for majority of the Brooklyn players.

Steve Nash, on if he’s worried about losing to the top teams the Nets have played so far — the Warriors, Heat, Bulls and Bucks, “We’re not in that tier yet.”
The Nets vs Warriors game was decided in the 3rd quarter wherein the away side dominated the scoring charts and outscored Brooklyn by 35-18. Scoring almost double points as compared to their opposition, the home team were always chasing the game thereafter in the fourth quarter in-front of the fans at Barclays Center.
Being clear that Brooklyn Nets can very well be without Kyrie Irving in the 2021-22 season. With that being said, the team will require to step up their game in order to support Kevin Durant and James Harden, as things might get tough during the latter stages. While the Golden State Warriors are expecting Klay Thompson to finally return next month. Given their form, the Steve Kerr led side will be eager to give the splash brother as many games as possible to find his form back.
