It is no secret that New Orleans Pelicans have been struggling since the beginning of the 2021-22 season without their marquee scorer Zion Williamson. Having no leader in the squad as it seems, Brandon Ingram is one player who has often taken the responsibility to lead the scoring charts for the team. And against the team’s latest matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, the 24-years-old forward once again showed his caliber by knocking the game-winning shot.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have majorly improved in the current season, managing a .500 record. With a chance to secure the playoff berth, they have been led successfully by Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony Towns. Which seemed to be the case even in the Timberwolves vs Pelicans showdown, until Ingram got the ball in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter.
