Darius Garland joins the elite of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving whilst as Cleveland Cavaliers demolish Utah Jazz
Kyrie Irving, Darius Garland and LeBron James
Darius Garland was drafted 5th overall in the 2019 National Basketball Association’s Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers and spending three years in the league the guard has only got better and better. Cleveland Cavaliers lost their trusted, veteran point guard Ricky Rubio to a ACL injury for the rest of the season and Collin Sexton was unavailable which opened more minutes and trust factor for Garland as he now runs the court sticking to his role of point guard while making some big differences on both the ends. Darius Garland was doubted by many during his rookie season but slowly the young gun has been successful in shutting down all the mouths by proving them wrong.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently ranked as the 6th seed in the eastern conference which is pretty unexpected from the Cavaliers keeping in view the teams overall performance after the two stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving departed. Recently the Cleveland Cavaliers had a match-up against the Utah Jazz at Vivint Arena where the Cavs handed out the Jazz their fourth straight loss as the final box score is 111-91. The Utah Jazz were missing Rudy Gobert and the defense since then turned out to be a disaster for the Jazz as the lead in the final minutes just got far away since they weren’t able to stop the offensive chain of Cleveland Cavaliers.
Amid the game Darius Garland grabbed his first ever career triple double as he had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists when the final whistle was called to end the game. It wasn’t really the scoring factor of Garland which won the game for Cleveland but it was the 15 big time assists by his side which helped the team to add-up in the lead and eventually edge over the Utah Jazz. Surrounded by young guns of the league like Jaret Allen, Darius Garland and Collin Sexton the Cleveland Cavaliers look real good and have a sure shot towards a long mad run as the team is already been very unexpected this season.

Darius Garland joins LeBron James and Kyrie Irving for triple-doubles count as a Cavalier
Cleveland Cavaliers drafted LeBron James and no one is ignorant with the fact of how the King has carried the Cleveland Cavaliers in his time with the team. LeBron James was and is so dominant that his prime years in Cleveland which still continue didn’t really require him any help as he single handedly won many games and even recorded 64 triple-doubles during his time in the land. After his debut there have been only two players to record a triple-double in a Cavalier jersey and those are Kyrie Irving and Darius Garland.
The road to break records in the land isn’t that easy but Darius Garland joining this elite list has opened his account and it doesn’t really looks like he is going to stop. Garland has played a special and crucial role in Cleveland Cavaliers run this year which has made the team look like a play-off lock so far which was very unexpected looking the past years performance but the young guns are running it all while winning the most they can.
It isn’t early or late to say that the future of Cleveland Cavaliers looks in good hands of young players like Collin Sexton, Darius Garland and Jaret Allen. The Cleveland Cavaliers this year also have a sure shot to at-least reach the semi finals if everything goes good and the team sticks around while committing to the goal of winning it all.
