The game was a matchup that could have gone both ways. The 1st quarter was a hard-earned victory for the 76ers, but in the 2nd quarter, they even increased their lead to 27. But when the match was nearly out of their hands, the Pacers went on a 17-6 run starting in the last part of the 3rd quarter and continuing till the flagrant foul by Deandre Jordan. And after the foul, the game was stolen away by the trio of Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey.

With this win, the 76ers have come within 2.5 games behind the Eastern Conference table-toppers Miami Heat and they are also on par with Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. They would like to be out of the 4th spot in the table, as the 4th spot holder should have to play the Brooklyn Nets in the first rounds of the playoffs.
