“Did NOT tell you to SHOOT THAT SHOT” Stephen Curry fires back at haters who claim he ruined game

Stephen Curry
Over the years in the NBA, there have been era where players have influenced young fans in general with their monumental style of play. Be it with Michael Jordan’s jump shots, or LeBron James’ fadeaways. However, Stephen Curry has often been criticised by certain section of hoop fans for ruining the game of NBA as the Golden State Warriors’ marquee has the ability of making a shot count form perhaps anywhere on the court.

Given the mega influence Stephen Curry has had, young NBA fans have been witnessed to emulate him time and again. While the old school hoop fans think, Curry has completely changed the ‘traditional’ style of basketball. The other section has just been in awe of him greatness. On a recent occasion, Curry decided to opinionate upon the same.

What did Stephen Curry say?

Time and again Stephen Curry is tagged on social media wherein kids have been trying to take shots from downtown and have horribly missed. On the most recent episode of Knucklehead podcast, Curry decided to make a public announcement.
Curry stated, “I’m gonna use this moment to get on my soapbox. Stop tagging me in all these horrible basketball clips of people taking bad shots telling me I ruined the game. I did not tell y’all to shoot that shot. I did not say, “Shoot that shot.”
As mentioned above as well, Curry is apparently getting tagged on social media with clip after clip of kids taking wild shots and trying to be like him. It’s only natural for kids to try to copy their favorite stars, but it’s certainly not the Warriors star’s fault that he’s so good at hitting from basically anywhere on the court. It is not like the former MVP is chucking and missing all the time. Safe to say, the 3-point King is a flamethrower from everywhere. And, as the same was stated by Stephen Curry in the video as well, he is not literally telling young players to be launching with reckless abandon. Having said that, it was finally time for the Greatest 3-Point shooter to bury these astonishing claims.
