Juan Soto recruited by Donovan Mitchell

Utah Jazz’ Donovan Mitchell is one modern-day NBA player who remains to be highly active on social media, opinionating his views upon different subjects. The most recent of which was the acquisition of Juan Soto, after the outfielder turned down the National’s 13-year $350 Million contract offer. The latter went onto confirm the same news to ESPN, revealing that before the MLB lockout began in early December, Nationals had made the same offer.

The 23-years-old outfielder has been one of the best hitters and is rightly acknowledged by Donovan Mitchell, who hilariously took to Instagram to somehow get his to the Mets before the start of the upcoming season. Soto played a major role is helping the Nationals win the World Series in 2019 and even finished runner-up in NL MVP voting last season.

Donovan Mitchell wants Juan Soto

Donovan Mitchell’s attempt to acquire the services of Juan Soto the Mets can be taken seriously, now that the latter hot-property is aware of his demand elsewhere as well.

“My agent and I think the best option is to go year after year and wait for free agency,” Soto told ESPN on Wednesday. “My agent Scott Boras, is in control of the situation.”

To those who are not aware, the particular contract would have brought out the final three years of Soto’s team control, with the slugger scheduled to become a free agent after the 2024 season. With a potential extension for Soto being a topic to discuss for the past some years, it seems like a much-more descriptive stance can be derived soon.

Donovan Mitchell

That being said, as far as Donovan Mitchell is concerned, the Utah Jazz star will take feature in his team’s battle against the depleted Los Angeles Lakers. With that being the last game before the All-Star break, hopefully, Mitchell can lead the Jazz past the Lakers to improve their win ratio, with Nuggets and Mavericks building pressure upon them. However, will the All-Star be able to have his say at Crypto.com? Remains to be seen.
