Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers finally put an end to the Ben Simmons saga. As they acquire James Harden in a trade with Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two future first-round picks. The following trade made everyone happy as Joel got himself a superstar to rely on and James Harden and Ben Simmons got out of the team they were least interested in playing for. But surprisingly the addition of Harden in the Sixers has already changed their big man Embiid as he tried to pull a move none expects him to.
Recently, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Boston Celtics at Well Fargo Center and got embarrassed in the match-up. As they fell short against the Celtics and the final box score stands at 135-87. The game was an embarrassing 48 points blowout loss for Joel and his squad. Currently, the Philadelphia 76ers are ranked as the fifth seed in the eastern conference with the record of 34 wins and 23 losses at .596. Joel in the game dropped 19 points, 6 assists and 9 rebounds while trying to showcase the new skills and moves he learned from James Harden.
Joel Embiid in the game tried James Harden’s double Step back three and was called for travel soon after with six seconds remaining for the second quarter to end while being down by 24 points. Sixers’ big Joel has never tried his shooting greats during such matches especially not with a step back but today was a different day as fans call it “The James Harden effect” and criticize both the players for the embarrassing loss.

That particular session had enough of influence as Embiid in the game and even in the practice was seen shooting double step-back jumpers.
