Chris Carrawell the assistant coach of Duke Is currently been heavily criticized as he refused to shake hands with Hubert Davis the head coach of North Carolina. The game spoiled the farewell party of Coach K (Mike Krzyzewski) at Cameron Indoor Stadium as it was his last home game. North Carolina Tar Heels completely destroyed Duke Blue Devils as the offensive end of theirs was too dominant for Duke to handle and put a stop to.
The starters of North Carolina Tar Heels stepped up a bit late in the game but got the job done as Armando Bacot (23 points, 7 rebounds) ran the offensive end in terms of scoring. While Brady Manek (20 points, 3 assists and 11 rebounds), RJ Davis (21 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds) and Caleb Love (22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists) backed him up on all ends. On the other end, the young star guns of Duke weren’t really able to keep up with the pace late in the game. As the final box score stands at 81-94 favoring North Carolina Tar Heels.
After the defeat, no one from the side of Duke was in a pleasant mood as they lost to their rivals by 13 big points. Even Coach K apologized to the crowd present for his farewell ceremony for the loss. But the lights are on Chris Carrawell and Hubert Davis. As Carrawell disrespected North Carolina’s Head Coach as he refused to shake his hand.

A video from the post-game handshake line stands viral on the internet. As Carrawell got caught refusing to shake hands with Hubert Davis and ignoring him moved past him. While another coaching staff member Nolan Smith though shook hands with Davis but had his head turned away and showed no signs of respect. There’s no such past between the two as the Carolina’s Head Coach told the reporters. So the act of disrespect can be a result of the loss.
