Dwight Howard ties Nate Thurmond in NBA’s All-Time Total Rebounds list, enters Top-10
Dwight Howard
Dwight Howard was one of the biggest snubs of the NBA All-Time 75 list of the 75 greatest NBA players. Dwight Howard’s resume makes him an obvious pick for it. Dwight Howard is a 3x Defensive Player of the Year, 4x All-Defensive 1st Team member, 5x All-NBA 1st team member, and of course 2020 NBA Champion. He reached another milestone Wednesday night as he surpassed Nate Thurmond in total rebounds and moved to 10th all-time in the list.
The Lakers continue their disappointing campaign losing to the 5th worst team in the entire league, Indian Pacers 104-111 at home on Wednesday night. They remain the 8th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-23 record for the season. The Pacers are 16-29 for the season and are 3rd worst team in the Eastern Conference.

In the Wednesday night game, Dwight grabbed seven rebounds to take his total to 14,464 rebounds, tying that of Nate Thurmond’s. He now has the 10th most number of rebounds all-time in the NBA. He also had four offensive rebounds to take his career total to 4,100 offensive rebounds. Howard has 8th most number of offensive rebounds all-time. Moses Malone (6,731 offensive rebounds) leads the list.
NBA’s three biggest men – Wilt Chamberlain (23,924), Bill Russell (21,620), and Kareem Abdul Jabbar (17,440) lead the total rebounds list. Howard likely won’t be able to have the all-time record as he is still 9,000+ short of Wilt’s insane record considering HowardDwight Ho
