“Even after those two season ending injuries, this dude is a 5-alarm fire” Zach Lowe emphasises over Klay Thompson’s scoring prowess; Regards Warriors serious threat to Suns
Klay Thompson and Zach Lowe
Sports Analyst Zach Lowe believes that Klay Thompson and his whole Warriors squad are going to be a big challenge for the NBA’s leading team the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Playoffs.
In this NBA season, the biggest question for fans was whether Klay Thompson will make his comeback, and if he returns will the Warriors’ star guard be effective in the same way he was during pre-injuries. Well, it seems that Thompson has given the answer to critics and fans by his performance after rebounding into the season for the dubs
Thompson’s first appearance was against the Cavaliers during the month of January where he made his iconic debut for the dub after missing two straight seasons. In the game, he scored 17 points with three 3-pointers. Since that game, the two-time NBA champion is averaging 19.7 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 2.8 APG with a 37.9 shooting percentage from behind the three-point arc.
Lately, when Stephen Curry got injured, the Warriors were again doubted about whether they will make deep playoffs run or not which even Kendrick Perkins questioned but in the recent games, star guard Klay Thompson has proved his importance by leading in scoring for the Golden State when Curry is rehabbing his injury.
Is Klay Thompson the biggest threat for the Phoenix Suns in the playoffs??
In the recent episode of ESPN’s Get Up Zach Lowe answered those doubts and explained why the Warriors will be more lethal in the playoffs as Thompson is regaining his pace in the season.
“There’s a lot of ifs with the golden state,” said Zach Lowe. “If Draymond looks like himself, if Klay continues to get better, if Steph comes back looking like himself, if Andre Iguodala starts looking like himself, he had seven assists last night. But you know what I think enough of those ifs let’s say 60 of the 70 of them are gonna tilt golden state’s way. They seem to be trending that way Jordan Poole he’s legit, Andre Iguodala has looked pretty good since he came back and if enough of those ifs tilt that way, and by the way I trust Steph.”

“I think everyone’s been way too hard on Klay this season,” Zach Lowe added. “Klay shooting 38 from three on this kind of volume after those two injuries the dude is still a five-alarm fire if enough of those ifs tilt their way.
“I think they’re the biggest threat to phoenix in the western conference until absolutely proven otherwise, nobody wants to play against this team they play a style that is all their own and no one wants to face them in a seven-game series do not sleep on the Warriors.”
