Klay Thompson finally returns to the NBA for the first time since 2019. It’s a huge moment for the Golden State Warriors, who have got back one of their best shooters while they are currently the best team in the entire league. He is very happy that Klay is finally returning to the hardwood after a long time and every fan of basketball will be tuning in to see his seasonal debut.
“I’m excited for him. I know it’s a huge, huge day out there in the Bay Area. It’s going to be electric in there today. Talking to Klay over the last couple years, you can just feel it through text messages how excited he is to get back on the floor. I know every basketball fan is going to be tuned in, so I’m looking forward to his return and healthy rest of the season and the rest of his career as well. I’m glad he’s back.”– Durant on Thompson’s return.
Durant and Thompson have been teammates for three years along with other stars like Draymond Green and Stephen Curry. They brought two championships to the Warriors during this period. There used to be a lot of drama in the team during that time but the drama didn’t affect the game of the team negatively.
The other team members of the Warriors like Curry and Green are even super excited to have Thompson back in the team. Thompson’s sharpshooting and defense skills will help the team get better in the upcoming games. Warriors currently stand at 29-9 and are in the fight with Phoenix Suns for having the best record in the league.
