Ex-NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick heckled by fan on his way out of MSG after Grizzlies vs Knicks

Ex-NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick heckled by fan on his way out of MSG after Grizzlies vs Knicks

Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick is a civil rights activist who has spent 6 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers as their quarterback. Recently when the former NFL player made his way into the Madison Square Garden for watching the Grizzlies vs Knicks showdown, he surely did not have a happy memory while leaving his way out of the iconic stadium.

A Colin Kaepernick hater heckled the NFL star on Wednesday, calling him out a ‘bum.’ The culprit then shouted, “Yea that’s right, get in the car and leave.” Without adding anymore heat to the situation, Kaepernick quietly went and sat in his car, giving no attention to the hater who wanted nothing less than some action from the other end.

Inside of the arena, Colin clearly had a much better time, he sat next to Spike Lee, and was also spotted chatting it up with former MLB star CC Sabathia before tip-off. During the Grizzlies vs Knicks game, ESPN Films announced a new docuseries was in the works about Kaepernick, with the production company saying Lee had been tapped to direct it. Officials promised it would tell Kaepernick’s story in a way that’s never been heard before.

That being said, Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2016 season yet hopes to bring his talent and prowess to the football field in the near future. On the other hand, talking about the particular Grizzlies vs Knicks showdown, the away team continued their sparkling form as they cruised past New York Knicks 120-108.

The New York have dropped down to a 24-28 record and looking for a major change to once again live-up their campaign. With the pace they are currently in, it looks tough for the Madison Square Garden team to make their way into the playoffs. But just like Colin, the Knicks are also looking for some major inspiration on the court. Whereas the JA Morant led Grizzlies are 36-18, the third best team in the NBA, this season.
