The 38-year-old cultural legend has been accused of criticizing the Los Angeles Lakers legend in his most recent hit song after releasing his new song, Fighting Irish freestyle. This comes after James has publicly been spotted supporting Drake’s rival, Kendrick Lamar‘s music, several times.

Not only that, James also attended Lamar’s music event in 2024 alongside some basketball stars. Drake is a renowned Toronto Raptors supporter and one of the most well-known celebrity fans associated with the NBA. Over the years, he has appeared in various venues, including as a courtside spectator supporting his home team and as a guest on televised shows.

Some even went to the extent of claiming that DeMar DeRozan, another NBA star, has also been dissed through this verse. However, there is no confirmation whether the Canadian rapper has dissed these NBA stars.

However, the track’s title is the clearest indication that he is snooping on LeBron James.
At St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School, James played basketball for a squad known as the Fighting Irish. James’s journey to fame began when he first came to the attention of the public. Drake’s most recent song has the same name, and that’s no accident.
