Kevin Durant gets aggressive on Kyrie Irving as he misses multiple opportunities to score against the Atlanta Hawks while he was on the bench.

The Brooklyn Nets were at Atlanta to play against the Hawks, the game was very important for the Nets to make a place in the top eight seed of the eastern conference, but despite Kevin Durant’s extraordinary career-high 55 points performance the game still didn’t go into the favor of the Nets as they got defeated by 122-115 on Saturday night for their second consecutive loss.

The major reason for the Nets’ loss was a lack of team support, when we take a look at the box score its clearly visible that except for Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving no one was able to score in double-digits, there also one more thing that should be highlighted it is turnover. The Nets turned over 13 times in the game and in comparison, to them the turnovers by the Hawks were only six.

In the second quarter, there was a time when Kevin Durant got fed up with Kyrie Irving when he missed multiple chances to score on back-to-back possessions. Although Kyrie Irving scored 31 points, he made only 12 out of 32 field-goal attempts, which shows how inefficient the Nets guard was from inside the arc.

Meanwhile, the Slim Reaper sub-in to bring the team back on track where he got some little success before the second quarter ended, KD continued his magical spell in the third quarter where he scored 19 points including back-to-back 3-pointer. He made 19 out of 28 field goals and 8 out of 10 shots from behind the arc.

Though KD was trying his best, the game went out of his hand in the last minute when the Hawks’ star guard scored 9 points and brought Atlanta into the lead. The Brooklyn Nets are now slipped to the 10th spot in the east and if they want to qualify for the play-in tournament they have to bring some quick wins in their remaining game.
