“From no where he channelised the G.O.A.T mode” Kendrick Perkins in awe of ‘favorite player’ LeBron James after heroics against Jazz

LeBron James

LeBron James took no a lot of time in turning up the heat and turning the tides in favour of the Los Angeles Lakers as the team finally snapped their 3-match losing streak by defeating the Utah Jazz who were leading the entire match till the midway of fourth quarter after which James decided to just dominate the court and give his team an upper hand in the last moments with a 19-4-point figure against the Jazz to take a massive dub.

Despite trailing almost throughout the match, the Lakers managed to turn the tides around in favour of them through the dominant performance of their main man LeBron James who managed to push through and give his team the much-needed lead in the closing minutes of the game through which they were able to win and end the win drought which was haunting them for the past 3 matches.

With what is seen as James’ unusual style of play where he suddenly presses some switch and just owns the court in a dominating performance, the team cannot entirely depend on one player managing to change the game for them, instead it should be a combined effort which is the only thing that can take them forward at such a high level.

Let us take a closer look at the reactions of the netizens of twitter to LeBron’s masterful performance which gave the Lakers a much-needed win and ended their drought.

Kendrick Perkins was one of the first people to react to LeBron James’ masterful performance in the Lakers’ game against the Jazz, and Perkins was also very honest on what he felt about it, where in he described that the team and LeBron both weren’t performing in the initial stages at all, which was tempting him to tweet that LeBron didn’t look engaged in the game at all, and once he waited, then LeBron all of a sudden went into goat mode, simply taking over, and Perkins’ only advice to him was, “carry the hell on”

With LeBron being goated by Kendrick Perkins, there were many people who also didn’t like the way he performed highlighting that it was a very risky style of play which could’ve ruined the game for the team, which was an argument supported by a lot many people.

Let us also have a look at a few of these arguments which found the fault in such a performance by the Lakers.

The Lakers who had recently been struggling to get a victory even after Anthony Davis’ return had been on a 3-match losing streak which was doing nothing but harm to their mentality and this might change after the performance they saw from LeBron James who singlehandedly carried the game for the Lakers and even that was after they couldn’t do anything in the entire match.

LeBron James led the way for the Lakers with 33 points, 5 assists and 8 rebounds followed by Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook who scored 17 points each in an effort to take the Lakers to a win against their rivals, the Utah Jazz.

In an inadequate effort and lack of performance display in the end moments, Donovan Mitchell led the way for the Utah Jazz with 37 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds, followed by Bojan Bogdanovic who scored 15 points and Jordan Clarkson who scored 13 which wasn’t enough to grant them the dub.

In reaction to James’ performance, the Lakers’ coach Frank Vogel said, “What we saw LeBron do, it’s just remarkable. “What he continues to do at this point of his career, to take over a game in the fourth quarter the way that he did with his energy, will and determination, it was really something special.”

This form of LeBron James did grant them this match but it isn’t a guarantee that the team will win all the coming matches as a good performance by a single player isn’t enough at this stage in the league and it will be fun to watch how the Lakers change things for themselves after this win.
