The former revealed the details of a secret affair of the Miami Heat’s legend, nearly a decade ago. She went onto reveal more light on the same topic, expressing her possibility of leaving Wade amid this scandal.

Now to those who are not aware, Gabrielle Union launched her new book, “You Got Anything Stronger?”, wherein she detailed that the woman she is today, would have not stayed with Dwayne Wade in 2013 after he fathered a child with another woman. The famous actress went onto elaborate upon the same in a recent interview and spoke about each detail of the same.

“Who I am, the healing that I’ve fought for, the peace that I have fought for, I wouldn’t. I just wouldn’t,” Gabrielle Union said (h/t Brad Sullivan of Heat Nation). “That’s not what happened, but there is wisdom from perspective and time and therapy and personal evolution and accountability that changes things.” 

“One of the things I learned about giving advice is don’t take advice from anyone doing something about anything that they haven’t succeeded at. So, if you’re gonna ask me, a divorced woman who’s had a gang of relationship challenges about what you should do in a relationship, you’ve already failed. I could give you my coulda, woulda, shoulda, but at the end of the day, I didn’t. So be careful when and who you ask for advice about what to do in the moment.” 

Having said that, Union stated that she does not regret her decision of leaving Dwayne Wade amid the cheating scandal. Moreover, the decision of her staying, has only made her a stronger woman. Safe to say, who fans might see as a perfect couple, might have the strongest and darkest of stories which have kept them together.
