“Give him the damn Oscar”- Twitter goes berserk after Thanasis Antetokounmpo pulls the Neymar Challenge against Nets
Thanasis Antetokounmpo just pulled the famous Neymar injury stunt. If you follow football, you must have watched how severely Neymar got trolled for over-reacting over a mere tough by the defender, and let me tell people didn’t let go of it. It became an international challenge and the internet was flooded with videos of #NeymarChalleng. Seems like Thanasis wants to get memed too.
Thanasis played for the Bucks for the last two seasons and re-signed with the Milwaukee Bucks this off-season. He is the older brother of the two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo also popularly known as the “Greek freak”.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo wreaks havoc on the court with his dominant and aggressive game that is highly favored by his heavy built. And, Thanasis is favored by the same built but the 29-year-old just made fans reminisce about Neymar after pulling a similar stunt like him.

Twitter -“Give Thanasis Antetokounmpo a damn Oscar!”
The Brooklyn Nets hosted the Milwaukee Bucks at the Barclays Centre on Friday. This clash was surely interesting to watch as one of them is the defending champions and the other is the top favorites for this season’s title.
The Bucks made sure to show the Nets that they’ve come for some business as they defeated the Nets by 109-121. The Nets didn’t have their star pg Kyrie Irving on the team though he played with them when the Nets traveled to Indianapolis on Wednesday.
As per New York’s vaccine mandates, Kyrie’s unvaccinated status makes him ineligible to play any home matches. Kyrie may provide the Nets some support during the road game but for home games, he can do nothing and the Nets need to find a way to help themselves out of this situation.
For the Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points after missing a game, Khris added 20, and Bobby Portis added 25 points.
Thanasis played for 8 minutes and he made sure to make those 8 minutes become one of the highlights of the match. During the 2nd quarter when Thanasis went to defend Kevin Durant while the latter was waiting for a pass from James Harden. Thanasis was so closely defending that in order to make some space Kevin used his arm to push him off.
This is the minimal level of contact that players have during a match. But Thanasis’s extravagant reaction made the referee call Durant out on a personal foul.
It was evident that the push wasn’t as strong as the Thanasis reacted to it and the fans took on Twitter to call Thanasis Antetokounmpo out on this fake reaction.
