Finally, all the talk of James Harden is thrown out and the Beard has made his debut match for the Philadelphia 76ers. James Harden seems happy after the performance, and it is nice to see Harden looking like his best. James Harden seems to have found a brother in Joel Embiid as well with his move to the sixers.
James Harden makes his debut for the Sixers
In a highly anticipated match-up after the NBA All-Stars weekend, the Philadelphia 76ers faced the Minnesota Timberwolves, a game which also was the debut match for the newly traded James Harden for the Sixers, and it didn’t disappoint at all. James Harden was looking like his better self in the game, coming out with a double-double right in his first game for the Sixers. He looked to be enjoying playing alongside Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and others.
After playing the most minutes in the game for the Sixers he came out with 27-points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. Just 2 rebounds short of making it a triple-double for the Beard. Coming out of a Hamstring injury the former MVP was back in the game with his trademark step-back 3’s, and in the first quarter itself earned a chance to make a 4-point play when he was fouled by Jarred Vanderbilt of the Timberwolves and buried the free-throw completing the 4-point play.

James Harden finds a brother in Joel Embiid
James Harden after coming to the Sixers has already made analysts and critics scratch their heads how he will be pairing with the Sixers talisman Joel Embiid. It is right to say that they both have gotten off to a flying start back in the league. With a 30-point win against the Timberwolves, things look more and more confident for the Sixers to go deep in the playoffs run. Joel Embiid again put up a commanding display by racking up 34-points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists.
In the fourth quarter, the newly crowned NBA All-Star 3-point shooter Karl Anthony Towns was up against the Beard who is physically taller than him was defending the former league MVP, he nailed the 3-pointer with his trade-mark step-back and won a foul, making it a four-point play. James Harden then goes to Embiid who has his hands up in the air in celebration, goes and hugs him, an embrace which might just be a great sign for the Sixers, things might be starting to look possible with trading in James Harden.
