Kevin Durant has been arguably the best player in the league since his arrival. Being drafted by the Seattle Supersonics, Durant evolved into a consistent scorer who can put up 30-points in any given situation on a nightly basis. Currently, he plays with the Brooklyn Nets in pursuit of his third title along with Kyrie Irving.
Kevin Durant is currently 29.6 points with 7.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game this season. He shoots 52% from the field, 37.7% from the three-point line, and 90.8% from the free-throw line. Durant has been praised for his guard-like skills while being almost 7 feet tall. Soon he transferred his talents to the Golden State Warriors where would win two championships back to back. He also won finals MVP twice in those two title runs. Durant currently has four scoring titles tied with George Gervin and Allen Iverson. Recently, he commented on the scenario of getting his jerseys retired saying, “OKC has to retire my jersey. It wouldn’t even be good for the game of basketball if they didn’t. The same with Golden State.”
