Charlotte Hornets get back to winning ways

Charlotte Hornets after their loss to the Milwaukee Bucks got back on track with a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers with Isaiah Thomas making his debut, the game was always in the favor of the Hornets. It was never a difficult task to take down the Cavaliers when the Cavaliers are out of the running and on an inconsistent run of games this season. Charlotte Hornets were able to outscore the Cavs in every quarter, LaMelo Ball played just 8 minutes due to foul troubles in the game and contributed just 4 assists and 2 points.

Hornets played with Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre Jr. who were the highest scorers from the Hornets team. Terry Rozier completed the game with 29 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds, whereas Oubre got 19 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. It was an easy game, and the Cavs didn’t make the Hornets break their sweat at any given moment. The Charlotte Hornets are currently at the #9 position in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 31-33 in the League this season. All they need to be is to keep the form going to make it to the play-in tournament. The Hawks and Wizards are, however, trying to cover up the ground to get a higher rank on the table.

Isaiah Thomas debuts for the Charlotte Hornets

Thomas has been on some journey after his hip injury, and he has been a proven shooter, bringing in buckets every time he steps on the floor. The Hornets Head Coach on Isaiah Thomas, “Leadership, poise, confidence. He provides all of that.”  Several coaches have high praise for Thomas, but he is yet to find a permanent team this season. With him in the Charlotte Hornets, he might just bring in a little juice to the Hornets to make a fighting chance for the playoffs.

Isaiah Thomas came on and got 10 points in just 14 minutes, what a way to make an impact in your debut. He has a contract with the Charlotte Hornets for a 10-day period, many people might have been shocked after the performance, but Terry Rozier was never in any doubt, the two played together during their time in the Boston Celtics, therefore he knows the capabilities of IT has. “He was huge. It’s not just what he does on the court. It’s his leadership, his voice in the locker room is already making an impact. It’s good for us to have guys like him that have been to the playoffs and know what it takes. I’ve watched IT for two or three seasons. He’s nothing short of amazing,” said Rozier.
