“Hold that L” Trae Young savagely trolls Knicks Fans in latest ‘Viral Villain’ video
Trae Young vs Knicks Fans
When Trae Young led his Atlanta Hawks in-front of thousands of New York Knicks’ fans at the Madison Square Garden in last season’s playoff series, he was deemed as the biggest villain ever witnessed by the franchise. With countless number of fans shouting ‘F**k Trae Young’ at the top of their voice, the Hawks marquee gave them chills, after knocking the insane long-range game-winner, to take a bow.
However, this time around, when the New York Knicks require every win possible registered against their name, they were scheduled against Trae Young’s Atlanta Hawks. As one might imagine, the All-Star did face some upset fans, who were ready to heckle with him. But Ice Trae surely was on fire to silence the home crowd once again. Safe to say, his 45-point explosion not only led Hawks to victory, but sent some fans out of the Garden before the clock timed out.

Trae Young silences heckling New York Knicks Fans
To those who are not aware, with the game on national TV, the 23-year-old All-Star eagerly went on to embarrass the New York Knicks with a phenomenal 21-point first half. He ended up with a career-high 45 points on a sizzling 13-25 shooting from the field, including 7-15 rainbow shots.
True to his trash-talking pedigree, Trae Young had an ice-cold retort to one of his jeerers. Young went close to the fan, formed his hands into an L and dared the heckler to hold the sign and just practically shut up and watch. Hoop fans in the Garden witnessed the ultra-talented scorer burn the New York Knicks yet again.
That being said, the Hawks are themselves trying to widen their gap from the Washington Wizards, in order to secure a play-in berth. Given that Trae Young’s army will be playing against Brooklyn Nets or Charlotte Hornets in the play-in tournament, it is a positive sign to see their marquee player turn his A-game on, in time. Lastly, with a 6-game win separating the Wizards and Hawks, have the latter team finally managed to outrace the chasers? Remains to be the big question.
