Houston Rockets open to reunite with James Harden
James Harden
James Harden has been at the helm of criticism for Brooklyn Nets ever since Kevin Durant has been side-lined due to respective injury. Having lost seven consecutive games, there have been rumors of The Beard potentially landing in Philadelphia 76ers as the team is open to pursue talks for him. Now, it seems like Harden’s former team, Houston Rockets wouldn’t mind re-uniting their ace-man as well.
The Big 3 of Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving have only played together in 16 games ever since they were lined up in the 2020-21 season. Now with Harden potentially being exchanged for Ben Simmons, the former has made it clear that he is not enjoying his time in Brooklyn as much as he did in Houston.

Houston Rockets to join James Harden trade saga
According to Sam Amick of the Athletic, Harden could join Houston Rockets as well. But the chances of such a scenario taking place are limited. Firstly, because the young and inexperienced Houston Rockets do not have the right pieces to frame a strong team around the Beard. Furthermore, the Rockets are one of the worst teams in the 2021-22 season and have almost next to impossible chances of reaching into the play-in tournament spots.

“The Rockets have made it clear to James Harden that they would welcome him back in Houston them if that was ever in the cards.”
That being said, the only reason why James Harden could once again join forces with Houston Rockets can be, because he played his career’s best basketball at Toyota Center. There are a lot of options for James Harden, so it’ll be fascinating to see where he ends up. There are good chance he doesn’t get traded and stays in Brooklyn to attempt to win a championship with the Nets this season.
Lastly, will Harden be playing alongside Joel Embiid in the remaining 2021-22 season? Or will he be suiting up with Irving and Durant? Remains to be seen.
