Skip Bayless was not shy as to put forth his opinion as to question LeBron on leading the All-Stars for a team that is a sub .500 team. Skip Bayless is an American sports columnist, commentator, and Television personality. He is an intense personality when it comes to sports writing and reporting.

Skip has been behind the case of the  Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James considering the struggles the Lakers are going through. Skip is correct in his saying considering the fact that the Lakers are sitting at the 8th position in the Western conference and not looking like a team that will be challenging for the championship any time soon. With dismal performances against the Indiana Pacers, celebrating a win against Utah Jazz and considering them a ‘legitimate’ team.

Skip Bayless thinks LeBron James has a different agenda

Skip has criticized LeBron on his defensive duties to the team and has come up with a theory that LeBron James could be going after the record for the NBA’s All-time scoring record which is held by Kareem Abdul Jabbar with 38,387 points and coming second on the list is Karl Malone who has 36,928 points and LeBron is behind them in third place with 36,289 points. This was said by Skip Bayless as to the questionable defending by LeBron James in recent games for the Lakers.

The Lakers are not performing well at the moment, which is enough, to sum up, their season, coming up with a team filled with veterans and not enough youth power in the system it is difficult to see this Laker team winning this season, at the least to qualify the Western conference.

Skip Bayless is confused as to his opinion on LeBron James. Skip Bayless in his recent tweet has questioned the All-Star voting as to how is LeBron James leading the charts, lets go back to 6th January 2022, where Skip Bayless has backed LeBron James to win the MVP this season

Skip Bayless is a pure hater of THE KING

Skip Bayless has a right to put his opinion, but doesn’t the numbers speak for themselves? LeBron James is 37 years old and is in his 19th season, he is disregarding the age factor and any logic, the man is putting on a show despite his team slacking, the king is averaging 28.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists. With this, he is shooting 36.4% from the 3-point range, he has made 3 triple-doubles and 12 double-doubles and doing that by playing roughly 36.7 minutes per game.

The stats are enough to put LeBron in the conversation for a fifth MVP award. The All-Star voting is not a team-based ranking, but rather on individual performance. If the Lakers were doing a better job in ranking higher up in the Western Conference and not having an unwanted record of 22-23 LeBron James would be the clear favorite for the MVP award. Skip said “From my heart, I give him a good shot at winning MVP”.
