Vernon Maxwell denies stabbing Hakeem Olajuwon with a broken bottle but in a hilarious way on twitter
Maxwell does try to keep his Twitter handle a civilized place for other users to check out. But sometimes while he is talking about basketball things do get out of hand especially when things are being discussed about his past events.
While discussing the unfortunate exchange of words between Kevin Porter Jr and John Lucas, a sports talk show host tweeted out a controversial tweet “So I’m the only one that remembers when Olajuwon and Maxwell got into it at halftime? When Hakeem slapped Vernon and Maxwell broke a bottle and tried to stab him? Calm down people. Heated exchanges happen all the time.”
This tweet might not have gone as viral as it was expected to be and did fail in the process of creating any controversy. However, Vernon Maxwell gave a reply to the domain through his own quote tweet, and can be said that he has denied this rumor in the best way possible. “I don’t remember trying to stab anyone but if I did it was out of love.”- Vernon Maxwell replied.
However, the thread handler to whom did the 2 time NBA champion replied was trying to trigger him with his replies under the quote tweet but people on Maxwell’s Twitter have pretty much handled him with their replies.
