The in-arena DJ of Sacramento Kings really went out of his way and disrespected Russell Westbrook as he would start playing the song “Cold as Ice” by Foreigner whenever Russell would miss a shot. This attempt by Sacramento Kings operational team was cute as Russell spoke out in the post game interview regarding the efforts to mock him. Russell Westbrook in his response quoted: “That’s funny. I hope they played that the last 14 years, too. That’s cute.”
Russell Westbrook targeting the 14 years streak of Sacramento Kings not making it to the playoffs gave a savage reply and it is liked by many fans around. But something which really has to be focused on is Russell Westbrook struggling shooting the ball and even at running the offense as he used to do. Russell Westbrook hasn’t really been playing like he did in recent years as his recent games have been literal pieces of his shooting slump. The team totally relies on LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. Bron in his year 19 is back in form and coming up with MVP calibre performances while AD is out for some weeks and all the concern and pressure now comes on Russell Westbrook who is expected to improve his team chemistry and shooting slumps.
