“Is there any record Chef can’t break” NBA Fans hail Stephen Curry after he records his 1,361st steal to surpass Chris Mullin as the Warriors’ all-time steals leader
Stephen Curry sets a new franchise record
Stephen Curry has never stopped to amaze the NBA universe through his unguardable skills of shooting, assisting, and scoring but this time the achievement which he has accomplished shows his less discussed skill. Recently, the Warriors defeated the Clippers and, in this game, Curry set another franchise record of getting most steals while outscoring former Warriors player Chris Mullin.
On Tuesday, Steph Curry before playing against the LA Clippers already tied his stealing scores with former Warriors’ star Chris Mullin who was the all-time leader in the steals category of the franchise with 1360 steals. But now the most steal record is no longer in the name of Mullin as Curry made his first steal in the second quarter of the game; he became the new leader in this category.
Later, while playing Curry steal the ball two more times from the Clippers’ offense and ended the game with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. The game result came in the Warriors’ favor as the score was 112-97 which has even ended their five-straight games losing streak.

Who is Chris Mullin and what does he think of Stephen Curry surpassing him?
Chris Mullin was drafted in 1985 by the Golden State Warriors and almost played 13 seasons with the franchise, in his time with the Warriors he averaged 20.1 points per game and was also a five-time NBA All-Star.
Chris Mullin appeared on the ‘post-game live’ and spoke about Curry overtaking him as the Dubs’ all-time leader in steals. In this whole conversation Mullin heap praised the two-time NBA champ for creating a new franchise record and said, “Let me tell you something, if you are in the same category with Steph Curry in any area, on or off the court, you are in good company.”
The current season has already been great for Steph Curry as he previously broke the record of Ray Allen’s and became the NBA’s all-time leader in scoring three-point. Meanwhile, he also won his first-ever all-star game MVP, and further, it will be interesting to watch whether this lucky season really helps him to win the Championship this season or it will take more time to complete his three-trophy haul.
