The Milwaukee Bucks led by the Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo went to the Chase Center, they are 2nd in the Eastern Conference and took on the 3rd placed Golden State Warriors. It was a highly contested match for the two which saw them end the 1st quarter with a tie at 28-points each. After that, the momentum shifted in the favour of the Warriors, but it didn’t mean the Bucks were far away behind, Giannis turned up the heat by scoring 31 points, 3 assists, and 8 rebounds. For the Warriors, Curry had a quiet game, but Jordan Poole and the other splash brother Klay Thompson burst for the first time after scoring 38-points for the Warriors.

The Bucks were shocked when he exploded for 38 points and shot 8-of-15 from beyond the arc, the Bucks were able to contain only Curry but had no answer for Thompson. Giannis said, “We haven’t seen him a while due to his injury. It’s almost like we forgot who he was,”.

For Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors, the win, and the way to win the game was important, after they have been struggling to get a winning run in the league. It can be summed up as a confidence booster for Klay Thompson.

It has shown that the Warriors can also rely on other players other than Stephen Curry, after a lively performance from Klay.
