Murray also his 15th triple-double after grabbing 10 rebounds and supporting the team by his 15 assists. Through these records, he has now surpassed legendary Spurs star David Robinson for the all-time franchise lead in Triple doubles.

The Spurs’ dominance over the game was clearly seen as they also set a season-high for most points in a quarter, taking a 43-27 lead. They also lead in scoring most points from behind the arc as they 8/10 while the Hawks had only two in the first quarter.

“That’s the thing in this league,” Spurs all-Star said. “You make shots, you miss shots, and I think tonight we made shots, but we also kept our composure and matured. From the first quarter to the fourth quarter, we didn’t let up. We knew we couldn’t let up against a scoring team like Atlanta. That’s really what it was tonight.”
