Kevin Durant is one of the most vocal NBA players and when on Monday Stephen A. Smith quoted a fake report saying that Kyrie Irving called James Harden washed up. Durant hit back at Stephen Smith saying, “Damn Steve, Got ya a*s”.
Stephen A. Smith and Magic Johnson were talking about James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers and their chances of winning the NBA championship. He said that Harden doesn’t have the personnel that he had in Brooklyn, where he could pass first and shoot later; now he has got to be the James Harden of the Houston Rockets, where he used to score first and pass later; or else the 76ers won’t have any chances of winning the championship.

Stephen A. Smith was seen quoting a fake story from a Twitter page, Ballsack Sports, which is known for fabricating stories for generating social media buzz. On Monday night ‘First Take” with Magic Johnson, Stephen A Smith quoted, “especially when Kyrie looked him in the face, according to reports, and told him you washed up. He said that to him.”
Stephen A. Smith and Kevin Durant have got a history of having a cold or more specifically a frosty relationship with each other, after their beef in 2015; when Kevin hit at Stephen A. Smith for linking him to the Los Angeles Lakers for free agency and after that Stephen A. smith coming back at Kevin saying that KD should not make an enemy out of Stephen A. Smith. And they also beefed in February 2022 when Stephen said that KD left Stephen curry to be with Kyrie Irving, and left all his chances to win the championship with that move.
Now, this fake quote by Stephen A. Smith and the thereafter reply by Kevin Durant got the fans’ heads over heels laughing at this hilarious take by Stephen A. Smith.
