JJ Redick recently in a take of his comparing the greats of LeBron James with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant gave the King his flowers while appreciating him for his greatness all these years. LeBron James this season has been god-like as he carries the Los Angeles Lakers around the league with no help. As the veteran roster hand-picked by him with the help of the front desk provides no support since stars like Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis and Carmelo Anthony most of the time fall short while trying to add a win for the team.
The Los Angeles Lakers have proved their consistency on being inconsistent when it comes to winning some games and improving their record to increase their chances of making it to the post-season. But on the other hand their leader LeBron James still hasn’t given up and delivers an MVP calibre performance every time he steps on the court. This season he is averaging 30.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. Something very inhuman as age is really not a factor in his rally. He has also made it to the MVP conversation this season but his team’s rank will surely affect the result.

JJ Redick started by appreciating and praising LeBron James. Further talking about the comparison he quoted: “I get where people would take umbrage with this quote, ‘Kobe would never. MJ would never.’ But LeBron has never done things like them. LeBron has always done things his way. I appreciate this perspective from him.” Even Stephen A. Smith admitted that it makes total sense and is completely a part of his gratitude while he said those words after the Cleveland Cavaliers game. JJ Redick also mentioned how King still aims at the scoring title while already chasing the greatest scoring record of all-time.
LeBron James this season has got several All-Time records booked under his name which reflect his consistency throughout his career. But the season isn’t really aging well for him. Currently, under his leadership, the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked as the ninth seed in the western conference with the record of 31 wins and 41 losses at .431. The team really needs to step up if they want to win the play-in tournament and make it to the playoffs or else all these greats of LeBron James would be criticized for years to come with the point of him not being able to make it to the postseason.
