Kristaps Porzingis gives a brutal 3-word upon Austin Reaves game winner in Lakers vs Mavericks showdown

Austin Reaves Game Winner

It seemed like the purple and gold army comprising of its Big 3 are once again unable to close out a game when the short-handed Dallas Mavericks held the LeBron James led team in OverTime. But it wasn’t until Austin Reaves decided to take matters in his own hands and knock the biggest shot of his NBA career so far, making sure that his team continues to surge onto winning ways. Surely, something which will be hard to digest for Kristaps Porzingis.

With the game on stake, Austin Raves sinked the game winning 3-pointers to make the Lakers win 107-104 against Dallas Mavericks, who themselves are looking to find their best form in the 2021-22 season. Furthermore, Kristaps Porzingis surely gave his honest take after earning a hard-fought loss.

It was extra frustrating for Porzingis who had another strong double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, taking the cudgels anew from injured Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic. After the bitter defeat to the Lakers, Porzingis had a blunt reaction, “Man it sucks.”

After gathering his breath Porzingis added, “Man, I think we should have got this one.”

There is no denying that Kristaps Porzingis has been a real firepower for the Jason Kidd coached Mavericks in the 2021-22 season but with Luka Doncic expected to miss more games due to his respective injury, the woes for Mavericks could significantly increase. To state the same fact, the team is currently 2-7 without Luka Doncic and has lacked to combine and play as a unit.

On the other hand, the LA Lakers are finally looking like a team that trusts in one another, but will they be able to cope with the pressure, remains to be seen. But for now, it seems like Austin Raves has surely put forward his claim to get more trust from his coach and teammates, after taking the responsibility of making a game winning shot.
