“I’m sorry man” Kyrie Irving issues heartfelt apology to Kevin Durant after career-high night goes in drain

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant
The duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving has been working for the Brooklyn Nets throughout this season, but at this sensitive point in the league, the entire squad can’t be dependent on just two players to carry them to the championship. Despite all of KD and Kyrie’s efforts, which also includes a career-high night from Durant with 55 points, the Nets fell to the Hawks and lost high stakes match with a close margin, the villain of the story being, yet again, the Hawks’ marquee player, Trae Young.
The crowd in the State Farm Arena was up on their feet after a clutch 3-pointer by Young, which shattered Nets’ dreams and Durant’s career night.

Things haven’t really worked out well for the Brooklyn Nets who have never really managed to gain form in the league after the initial part of the season, where they seemed invincible, but later went down a slumpy lane ending up with terrible losing streaks and a whole lot of controversies, which engulfed the entire squad.
Ranging from the presence of the Brooklyn Big 3, which included Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden (who now plays for the Philadelphia 76ers) to Irving’s Vaccine Mandate fiasco to Durant’s injuries to Harden wanting to sit out the entire season to him than being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, nothing hasn’t really been good for the Nets. In all of this, the Nets lost the morale they needed in order to get to the playoffs and regained it again in the past few weeks after Harden’s exit, but still, the story doesn’t seem perfect.
Kevin Durant had his career night against the Atlanta Hawks where he scored 55 points in 42 minutes that he played, accompanied by 3 assists and 7 rebounds, despite which, the team failed to get the much-needed win. Let us take a closer look at the game where Durant couldn’t carry his team to the win alongside his brother Irving, who later apologized to the former as the team couldn’t get the win.
Kevin Durant loses despite career high night against Hawks, Kyrie Irving feels the need to apologize

Kevin Durant’s career high night was stained by a clutch 3-pointer from the New York Villain, the cold-hearted shooter, the Hawks’ Trae Young. The Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks had a match filled with back and forth, which eventually ended in the Hawks taking a 7-point close margin dub. The night wasn’t a really good one for Durant who was looking to end his career high stats with a gist of positivity which would come from the victory, but things don’t really work the way you want them to.
Watch:
Kevin Durant scored a gargantuan 55 points, 3 assists and 7 rebounds against the Atlanta Hawks in the 42 minutes that he played, marking his career high night, which was also marked with the stain of a loss that his team conceded. Despite all of Durant’s efforts, it is a known fact that his squad doesn’t really help him and support him the way he would expect them to, in order for him to carry them ahead just like he has been doing throughout the season. Kyrie Irving also scored 31 points, and other than both of these players whose combined total comes out to be 86, the rest of the team only scored 29-points!

Trae Young seemed to come out as the ultimate villain at the end of the game with his clutch 3-point shot which ended the night for the Nets and stained Durant’s career high, Kyrie Irving apologized to Durant for such a night that he had to face where he couldn’t celebrate his all-time high stats. Surely an apology isn’t enough or even needed, the Nets need to step their game up in order to get the much needed dubs if they still want to get their hands at the championship this year.
