The NBA world has been rocked by the one and only LeBron who made history once again. LeBron has had a monstrous season so far for the Los Angeles Lakers despite them facing the risk of losing in the play-in tournament. The team has been through multiple issues which include under or improper utilization of their player, injuries, health issues, and more. Unfortunately, LeBron seems to be caught up at the center of the hate.

But the 18-time All-Star has not been moved by the comments he has been getting. By the way, he has been playing lately, it really proves that he is a one of a kind talent not easy to come by. Since March, LeBron has been averaging over 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. Not many have been able to reach so numbers at the veteran age of 37.

Though he has faced multiple injuries this season putting him at a high risk of a major injury, he has been putting up 29.7 points along with 8.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists shooting 52.2% from the field this season. Besides his all-season averages, LeBron made history last night being the first player to score multiple 50 point games past the age of 35.

Against the Washington Wizards, he scored 50 points along with 7 rebounds, and 6 assists shooting 18-25 from the field. LeBron also had a great night from three making 6 of 9 from beyond the arc. Just two nights before this, LeBron had an outstanding performance against the Golden State Warriors finishing with 56 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. LeBron James has been averaging the third-most minutes per game this season with 37 mpg. This would be the most he has averaged since the Cleveland Cavaliers championship run in 2016. Considering how often the King has been succumbing to injuries lately, overusing him would not be the best option for the Lakers as he is one of their only reliable options in the long run if they make it to the playoffs.

The Lakers are 2-0 since the All-Star games with LeBron scoring 50+ points. They are the 9th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 29 wins and 37 losses. The purple and gold are set to face their toughest opponent in the Phoenix Suns who are the first ones to clinch a spot in the playoffs being at the top of the league. The match will take place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on March 13th at 8:00 PM.
