DeMar DeRozan is playing like an insane this season and it seems that he is on a mission to break all the records that the legendary players like Michael Jordan and Wilt chamberlain have built-in their whole careers. Other teams are unable to stop the fire which the Bulls star has ignited inside him.

DeRozan is unleashing his limits, he is achieving the feats which not even Jordan, LeBron, or Kobe was able to achieve. In the recent game against the SA Spurs, he continued his domination and dropped his sixth-consecutive game of 35-plus points with a shooting accuracy of more than 50% from the field.

He has become the second player to achieve this stat as the first NBA star to do so was Wilt Chamberlain. Wilt accomplished this twice in his career one came in the 1960-61 season, and another came in 1963, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

The conquest to achieve this record was started by DeRozan when he notched 45 points with 60% shooting from the field against the Philadelphia 76ers on 6th Feb. After that, there was no stopping and undeniably he has crushed the defenses of the next five teams and scored 38, 36, 35, 38, and 40 points with more than 50% from the field in all those games.

The Bull all-star has the opportunity to go beyond the records of legendary players and score his seventh consecutive game with more than 35 points and 50% percent shooting against the Sacramento Kings who are having the league’s 29th best defensive ranking.

“To be honest, I love getting hot just for the simple fact of I don’t have to keep shooting. I can draw the attention and get other guys shots. That’s kind of my approach to the fourth quarters,” DeRozan said. “Be aggressive. Score. Whether it’s getting to the free-throw line or getting to my spot, make the defense make a decision. And from there, I can pick them apart with the passing.”
