Karl Anthony Towns recently on his Twitch stream revealed his hilarious encounter with Michael Jordan. Where for days everyone thought that Michael Jordan didn’t even know who Karl Anthony Towns is and he was just trying to jump in the conversation to get a part of MJ. As MJ is seen talking and dabbing up Luka Doncic on the floor. But the reality is far different as KAT gets added to MJ’s personal grudges list at the All-Star Game during NBA 75.
Karl Anthony Towns is a top center in the league right now. As winning the 3-point shooting contest at the All-Star weekend he got the big guys some correct recognition. His performance at the All-Star Game was also great as getting fourteen minutes on the court he grabbed 9 points, 3 assists and 6 rebounds. Currently, the Minnesota Timberwolves under Towns’ leadership are ranked as the 7th seed in the western conference with the record of 31 wins and 28 losses at .492.
But it wasn’t his performance at the game or winning the 3-point contest that broke the internet. A viral clip of him and Michael Jordan did the job as many thought MJ ghosted him amid a conversation Karl initiated. Michael Jordan was present in the building for the NBA 75 Ceremony where the league honored seventy-five all-time great players. Karl Anthony Towns faced heavy criticism and was made fun of on social media for trying to get a part of MJ but recently he explained the real backstory of it on his stream.

Explaining the viral moment of his with the Black Cat, KAT quoted: “So he walked in. He was trying to tell me something he knew what he wanted to say and he was trying to talk to me about the Charlotte game the Hornets game. Where I had 39 and I came through with the clutch shot. He was trying to tell me that and something they were trying to get him rushed in like because of the 75 they wanted to get it organized to get the photos done and everything right. It was something he wanted to say. And from the video, I have seen MJ before this happened everything was super competitive with him. With Magic Johnson… 1-on-1 right now. I was like okay MJ came in on like violence.”
Further, explaining their exchanges at the game which got viral the star center said: “MJ looks at me and he goes I remember what you did to my team. I have seen what you did to my team. F**k you! I say yeah! I like this energy. That’s why you see the video go and the funniest part MJ is so iconic so competitive he looks back at me and goes yeah…! So competitive I love it.”
The exchange between the two will surely be one of the most iconic ones. As Michael once again took the loss personally as the owner where Karl Anthony Towns stepped up in clutch against the Hornets and dropped 39 points. Jordan also made sure that Karl knows he is on the list of grudges and can have a taste of it very soon.
