Nets News: This is how ‘depleted’ James Harden can help Brooklyn win the 2021-22 Championship
James Harden
It might seem hazy for the Nets to now get into the playoffs, but the fans still count them among their one of the favorites. By all means, it hasn’t been a so good season for the Nets, compelling the kind of team they are. Having James Harden still not playing as James Harden until now is sabotaging the teams play. It’s been 25 games, and almost third of the whole season. Brooklyn Nets is still prepping with their strategies and are yet be at their full potential.
Calling out the play, it’s not entirely Harden’s fault. Season long unavailability of Kyrie Irving following the city’s COVID-19 vaccine regulations and upsetting ankle injury of Joe Harris are also the clear factors.
The fans not happy with Kyrie’s unavailability are terribly missing the star, as things would have turned out differently if he would have been on the court. And we just can’t agree more to this knowing how great the player is, and who would have surely done a lot of damage if present.

How can James Harden still help Brooklyn Nets to win the 2021-22 Championship?
Remarking on James Harden’s numbers, he’s right now pretty much the least impressive player on the Brooklyn Nets. Across the board, he’s shooting a worse percentage and scoring less. His assists are low, calling for more turnovers. Being a nine-time All-Star he’s scoring 20.9 points per game this season which might be his lowest since the 2011-12 season.
Assuming the fact that he’s yet to hit his top form, fans are still betting on Harden to run the Nets future. Last season with the best shooting guard in the NBA, James Harden, the Nets were at 29-7 in the league. Harden was a big deal last season as he had averaged at 33.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 11.1 assists. Not forgetting Harden’s potential he was the one who ignited the Nets prior season and helped them to get into the playoffs.
After the last Saturday’s loss to the Bulls, James faulting himself for the defeat signs us that he’s not at ease and he might be prepping himself to have a comeback and help Nets with the flame again.
Following the 2020-21 NBA season for the Nets it was observed that defense was their major problem ranking Brooklyn Nets as one of the worst-ranked teams in defensive rating. But it can be seen in the new season that have identified with the problem and have made the changes as required. Having Paul Millsap and Patty Mills this season, Brooklyn Nets can count on their defense to turn the game.
