Skip Bayless has been one of the fiercest critics of LeBron James since the Kid from Akron landed his feet in the NBA and he continues to do so. On the night that the Los Angeles Lakers had an impressive night against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. Kendrick Nunn had impressive games against the Hawks. Nunn has been struggling at the offensive end this season but showed who he can be for the Lakers.
Nunn who remained injured for the entire season last year had one of the best games against the Hawks. Nunn scored his season-high 23 points for the Lakers. Nunn was shot efficiently from the field as he shot 9 of 16 shots from the field and 3 of 7 from beyond the arc for the Lakers. Commenting on the Nunn’s game, Skip took a shot at LeBron saying that he has plenty of help from his co-stars and he cannot make an excuse if he loses the game. “No more Kenrick None. Tonight Nunn had 23 off the bench. Now LeBron has plenty of help. No more excuses,” Skip said.
The Lakers certainly did not disappoint as all the other stars also came together to put on an impressive performance. Dennis Schroder had 21 points, but the other star of the game was Thomas Bryant. He had an impressive double-double night for the Lake show with 19 points and 13 rebounds, of which 4 were offensive rebounds. In absence of Anthony Davis, Bryant has been putting up impressive numbers for the Lakers on both ends of the floor. The Lakers will face Sacramento Kings in their next game on Sunday.
LeBron James and the Lakers dominate the Hawks with Shannon Sharpe and Adam Sandler in attendance
The stars were in attendance in LA as the Lakers dominated the Hawks in the 48 minutes stretch. Perhaps what was ironic was the attendance of former NFL star and the Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, while Skip tweeted taking a shot at James. Shannon and Skip share a floor on the Undisputed while they provide game analysis. Shannon and Skip also share a stark difference of opinion when it comes to the 4x NBA champion. After the game, James was seen giving a heartful hug to Shannon.
Hollywood star and one of the finest basketball lovers Adam Sandler was also in attendance. LeBron did not disappoint the stars as he put in an impressive 25 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds in the win. He dictate most of the offense for the Lakers and kept the offense going.
