“That’s some coward s**t” – 6-Time All Star SLAMS Black Lives Matter, says ‘f**k you’ for silence on Hamas attack on Israel

Amidst the attacks conducted by the militant group Hamas on the state of Israel, many people have formed differing opinions about the situation due to its complexity. Many NBA franchises such as the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat have shown their support for Israel on social media. Now, 6-time All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire has shared his strong opinions on the matter.
Stoudemire, who is an Israeli citizen, has taken to social media to say that Hamas is kidnapping children, women and the elderly which is incredibly cowardly, and no one is saying a word about it. He said, “I Woke up this morning with some disturbing news out of Israel that Hamas [are] kidnapping children, putting them in cages, killing women, killing the elderly. That’s some coward s**t. That’s cowardly.”
He went on to express his frustration with the people who were very supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement but are shying away from supporting Israel. He said, “ And for all y’all Black Live Matter [supporters] who ain’t saying nothing, [saying] ‘Let me figure out exactly what’s happening before saying anything’, f**k you,”
Amar’e Stoudemire’s connection to Israel
Former NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire has strong connections to both Judaism and Israel. The former All-Star became inclined towards his Hebrew roots as a teenager and has also traveled to the country several times to learn about his culture and religion. He went to an Unorthodox conversion in 2020 and became a Jew after studying Torah and the Jewish culture for years.
After his stint with the NBA, he went to the Israeli basketball league and played for two Israeli teams Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv, and became a part owner of the former. He won championships with both teams and also won Finals MVP making him a prominent figure in the Israeli Basketball scene. He has a David star on his thumb and is deeply attached to his roots.
