LeBron James is widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time. Since entering the NBA in 2003, no player has carried the league like James for nearly two decades.

While James has rewritten the record books and won everything there is to win in the NBA, his family life and relationship with Savannah James are major reasons he has remained the face of the league. The couple have been together since their teenage days and reportedly started dating in 2002.

LeBron and Savannah have been married for 13 years now. They share three children, and their eldest son is Bronny James, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and shared the court with his father for two seasons.

The King has often credited Savannah with taking care of their family and raising his three children. He has defended his wife in public several times in the past. While there have been rumors and noise surrounding their relationship, they continue to be a close-knit family.

During a conversation with her friend April McDaniel on their podcast, Mrs. James revealed that the couple often spends their free time watching basketball.

My love language is quality time. So if this is where I got to fit it in, then I guess I’d just be on my phone the whole time, but I’m here with you. We in the same space.

LeBron’s life revolves around basketball. His work ethic and discipline over the years are second to none. So it is not surprising that Savannah and LeBron watch basketball whenever he has free time at home.

Savannah James and LeBron James are not living together after his move to Philly

Savannah James is more than a stay-at-home mother. She has started several business ventures and has settled in LA well. She co-founded Everybody’s Crazy with her friend McDaniel and has expanded her work into beauty, including Reframe.

However, LeBron has moved away from LA after leaving the Los Angeles Lakers. He parted ways after eight years in LA and signed for the Philadelphia 76ers in the offseason. Following the move, the two have been spending time apart while the children live with Savannah.

With no prior ties to Philly and no family nearby, James decided to live in New York. It was reported that he will be commuting to Philly via a helicopter.

Both LeBron and Savannah are known for their luxurious lifestyle. With their daughter, Zhuri James, settled into her school, Savannah remains largely based in LA. However, LeBron and Savannah will be maintaining a multi-city dynamic during his time in Philly.

LeBron James is settling into his new life in Philly. He has already donned the 76ers jersey for a preseason game against the Brooklyn Nets.

With LeBron and Savannah living apart, she recently visited Philly to spend time with her husband ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. The four-time champion, who is new to the city himself, hopped on to his Instagram story to solicit culinary recommendations on behalf of his wife. He wrote,

Philly Fam!! Where do I go for seafood potato greens?? My Queen asking! She like all suggestions. Obvi the best ones.

It is expected that James received a number of recommendations from his fans. The 41-year-old admitted during training camp that being away from his immediate family represents a stark departure from his routine. But he seems to be settling well into his new team.
