“AD is so shameless man” – Twitteratis COOK Anthony Davis after his admission about Lakers’ gameplan against Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook fans troll Anthony Davis after he revealed the Lakers gameplan during their loss to the Clippers last night
Anthony Davis
The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Los Angeles Clippers last night and Anthony Davis got roasted on Twitter for his pre-game comments. Davis made comments on the Lakers strategy pre-game saying – “Our game plan was for him to shoot the ball. And he made them. He made the shots.” Russell Westbrook shot 50% from the field and from three-point range in the Clippers 125-118 win.
Davis got slammed on Twitter by fans as he was restricted to just 17 points in 32 minutes as the Lakers suffered a big loss. “He just got outplayed by Ivica Zubac on national television,” said one fan as Zubac scored the same points on better efficiency and outplayed Davis on the night. Despite Davis’ admission that Russ played well, it is an embarrassing moment for LA to see their former player cook them in such an important game.
Anthony Davis has scored 30 points just once in his last 6 games against the Clippers and last night was yet another underwhelming performance. One fan clowned AD’s gameplan on Twitter saying – “Thats why he lost. This russ is different. Ham really thought he was gonna win this game with a draymond green gameplan???“. Westbrook has performed much better for the Clippers than his stint at the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis have almost secured a play-in spot after a torrid season
After starting 0-5, the Lakers are looking to become the first team in NBA history to make the playoffs after such a start. Anthony Davis has been a critical part of the Lakers rise this season, playing more games than his last two seasons. Davis played 50+ games this season and has averaged 26 points and 12 rebounds.
The Lakers have gone from being the 11th seed in February to being as high as the 6th seed just last week. They also own a tiebreaker against the Golden State Warriors, which puts them in a good position in case they end up on the same record. With two games left this season, the Lakers will hope they can sneak out of the play-ins, get the 6th seed, and set up a playoff round against the Kings.
The Sacramento Kings will be playing in the playoffs after over a decade, and with the experience that Los Angeles has, they will indeed have an advantage in the playoffs. LeBron James has only lost a first-round playoff series once in his career and will not look to add the Sacramento Kings to his list of defeats. Anthony Davis and LeBron James are fit and ready together for the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
